We measured Simona's height which was 1.62m, then went 30 meters away
from the tree and counted how many times Simona will fit into the tree's
height. Then we did the math 1.62 x5 = 8.91 Answer: 8.91
Simona could fit 5 times.
tree's height 8.91m
Method 2.
First we found a
stick the same length as our arm's. the length of the stick was
62cm,then grabbed it vertically, keeping in mind that the arm must be
fully extended and straight, then we stud opposite to the tree. And we
headed backwards until the stick is as big as the tree. The distance
from the tree to where we were standing was 10.10 m. We used the similar
triangles' properties to calculate the tree's height. And the proportion 66:10.10 By 66:X Answer 10.1 Method 3.
We didn't do it because of the sun which was not shoeing.
