We found a tree and Michelle stood next to it and Maria and Miklas measured with theirs hands. And we found out that Michelle could be there five times.  Afterwards we found out how tall Michelle are/was, Michelle was 159,5 cm tall and we writed it down at a paper.

 

28/10-13

We took a picture with Michelle and the tree and then Miklas found a stick as long as his arm. We hold the stick, so the top of the stick was at the top of the tree when we looked at it when we hold it in our arm. And the bottom of the stick was at the bottom of the tree. We measured how many metre we was from the tree.

We calculate:

We went inside and we calculate how tall the tree was/are in “active inspire” and we loaded the picture we took from the other day. And then we used the formula:

        A1B1    =    B1C1

        AB        =     BC

 

       1000   =     X

       70       =     70

 

1000/70 =  X/70

    70       =   70

 

1000     =   X

To calculate how high the tree was/is.
